Flame Light

Tis a sudden burst of flavour
A crucial verve of passion
That surges in my very blood
This urgent and pressing need...

To know my God in all His Ways
To follow Hiis Son's teaching
In all that I do
And keep striving for perfection in His Light...

Like a flame in the night
Or the embers of a roaring fire
His Light cuts through the murk of darkness
That is our world today...

Like that light at the end of the tunnel
So does His Light strike our very soul
To fill it with an abandon of love
To renew our hope in The One True God...

This Light I speak of, my brothers
Is a Light filled with warmth and laughter
A Light that is renewed anew with every breath
A Light that lives in the depths of our eternal souls

So like the mystical phoenix
Rising from murky ashes
We too can be renewed in this Light
And so bear witness to God's eternal Kingdom.

Emotion or Feeling?

In the soft morning light,
The day long awaited,
Arrives with a lot to say...
And yet how to say...

A bird chirpshere and
A cat meows there
Both oblivious of what
The night secrets revealed afore.

The first rays of sun shine,
 Bashfully on a couple strewn,
On the grass, the morning dew
Their bath, the grass their towel

Strange what this emotion does,
Leaves as bare and exposed,
For all the world to see,
So fickle yet so strong...

Is it a stage, a life process,
For every being to experience,
Or an everlasting companionship,
For only two to share...

Love, yes love, can only be,
If the two know it and no other,
It is selfish yet giving,
Gentle, yet mean to outsider...

No words befitting to depict it,
No words, no words, no words...

My Own Epiphany

Have you ever sat out in the night and asked yourself why you exist? I tend to be doing a lot of thinking nowadays along those lines. I generally believe in God and the greater good. What I find hard to believe is his ability to give us a free will and then expect us to follow His plan without question!!!

So as I think more and more about this PLAN God has laid out for me, I can't help asking why we would be so obstinate and audacious as to think that we can make our own pllans, expect them to work, without even consulting Him. When you think about it its quite ridiculous, yet we are constantly ignoring God. We need to reassess our lives and start to ask these hard realistic questions. Otherwise, we're lost in the sea of humanity, like sheep with no shepherd raoming over the hills, aimless, mindless.

Hi people.

 Hope you're all good. Am a 2nd year student doing my undergrad in Bachelor of Commerce. I know that may sound easy to some but it has its challenges. For instance, the main exams that count for 30% of the overall grade, are always tricky to pass. One may leave the examination thinking they have passed when in essence they haven't.

Enough about my woes. I want to hear about ideas that we can exchange online; business ideas that could benefit third world countries like mine....the change from hunger to comfort is a long and rough road....we can make it easier by co-operating together for a better TODAY, NOT tomorrow.
